Since opening in 2001, the Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum has grown into a leading ceramic art museum in Korea, acting as a hub that promotes the dynamic Korean ceramic art to the world and connects the local community with the global stage. It plays a central role in producing discourse on ceramic art by hosting planned and special exhibitions that diagnose the current state of contemporary ceramic art and explore future directions. The museum also serves as a cultural space that spreads ceramic culture by engaging with the public through educational programs and lectures targeted at different groups, as well as vocational training programs. Furthermore, it seeks ways to coexist for the future of ceramic art by closely collaborating with world-renowned cultural and artistic institutions, promoting international exchange exhibitions to elevate the status of Korean ceramics on the global stage, and supporting residency programs that foster creative exchange among artists worldwide. The Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum aims to be a familiar museum that communicates closely with the public to enrich everyday life through ceramic art. In addition, it contributes to enhancing the value of ceramic art by continuously communicating globally as a focal point of world ceramic art.

이천 시립 월전미술관은 한국화의 거장 월전 장우성 선생을 기리는 기념관적 성격의 미술관이다. 월전선생은 생전에 한국화단을 위해 사재를 사회에 환원하는 뜻을 세우고 1989년 월전미술문화재단을 설립하려 대표작품과 평생 모은 국내외 고미술품 전부를 재단에 기증하였고 이를 토대로 1991년 서울시 종로구 팔판동에 사립월전 미술관을 건립하였다. 월전선생은 그 규모와 역량을 확충하고 공익적 성격을 더욱 분명히 하고자 월전미술관을 이천 시립 월전미술관으로 전환한다는 유지를 남기고2005년 서거하였으며 그 뜻을 받들어 2007년 8월 재단법인 월전미술문화재단과 유족으로부터 월전 선생의 유작과 월전미술관 소장품 1,532점을 기증받아 이천 시립 월전미술관으로 새롭게 개관하였다.

경기도 이천시에 있는 돼지박물관은 돼지를 주제로 한 아시아 최초의 박물관이다. 돼지 인공수정사 이종영 촌장이 2011년 11월 14일 설립했다. 박물관에는 빨간 플라스틱 돼지 저금통을 비롯해 전 세계 18개국에서 수집한 돼지 인형과 미술품 5,000여 점이 전시되어 있다. 또한, 미니 돼지들의 묘기를 관람하고 소시지 만들기도 체험할 수 있다.
