Manyeon Waterfall is located below the pass leading to Suman-ri on the eastern foothills of Manyeonsan in Hwasun-eup. The waterfall, which drops from a height of 10 meters, has been visited by people suffering from neuralgia who believed it could heal their illness. There is a legend about Manyeon Waterfall. Long ago, Manseok and Yeonsuni were in love, but Manseok had to go to war, and they parted. Yeonsuni waited for Manseok, who never returned. On the day she was to marry another under her parents' pressure, she saw Manseok, disfigured, at that place. Yeonsuni ran out of her bridal chamber and secretly met Manseok, arriving at this waterfall. They fell to their deaths under the waterfall, vowing to continue their unfinished love in the afterlife. Since then, the waterfall has been called Manyeon Waterfall. Nearby tourist attractions include Unjusa Temple, Hwasun Hyanggyo Confucian School, and Hwasun Dolmen Cluster.

Mulyeomjeong Pavilion was built in the mid-16th century by Song Jeong-sun of the Hongju Song clan, who served as the Jeonjeok at Sungkyunkwan and as the county magistrate of Gurye and Punggi during the reigns of King Jungjong and King Myeongjong. It was later inherited by the maternal grandsons, brothers Na Mu-song and Na Mu-chun of the Geumseong Na clan, and was repaired several times, including restorations in 1966 and 1981. [Mulyeom] means 'not to be stained by the secular world.' Located 3 km upstream from Hwasun Jeokbyeok, Mulyeomjeong was a pavilion frequently visited by the wandering poet Kim Satgat, who admired the scenery. Next to the pavilion stands a monument and statue of Nang-o Kim Byung-yeon. The spectacular view from the pavilion includes the rugged cliffs of Mulyeom Jeokbyeok wrapped like folding screens and the pine forest, as well as the deep valley and precipices, creating a superb scene that feels like entering a fairyland where immortals once roamed.
