Gungri Port is a modest fishing port near Namdanghang-ro in Seobu-myeon, Hongseong-gun, Chungnam, named Gungri because the village terrain is shaped like a bow. The Imhae Tourist Road to the west heads south, marking the starting point of the route. The sunset seen while driving along Cheonsuman Bay is not on the horizon but sets behind Anmyeondo Island across the sea in the west. The combination of Cheonsuman Bay, AB Embankment, Ganwoldo Island, and Anmyeondo Island beyond the horizon creates a stunning sunset view, and the Imhae Tourist Road driving course offers beautiful scenery of Cheonsuman. Gungri Port is known for abundant catches of large shrimp, pen shells, and conger eels, with fishing boats frequently entering the port. Numerous sashimi restaurants line the area, offering fresh seafood caught nearby at reasonable prices, making it famous along with Namdang-ri. Nearby, there is a Birdwatching Science Center for observing migratory birds visiting Cheonsuman, as well as the Hongseong Horse Riding Experience Center and Sokdong Coast.
