This is an embankment connecting Ganwoldo in Buseok-myeon, Seosan-si and Seobu-myeon, Hongseong-gun, crossing Cheonsuman. It extends 6,458m and was called a national grand project at the time of construction. Construction began in 1979, with the B district completed in 1982 and the A district cofferdam finished in 1984. As a result, large-scale reclaimed land was developed into farmland, and Ganwulho was created in the A district, enriching food for migratory birds, establishing Cheonsuman as a migratory bird habitat. On the east side of the embankment, the Hongseong Bird Exploration Science Center opened to aid ecological research and observation of Cheonsuman. The view from Ganwoldo on the west side is also spectacular. This embankment carries Local Road 96, serving as a transportation link between Hongseong and Seosan. Nearby are Ganwoldo, Hongseong Bird Exploration Science Center, Cheonsuman migratory bird habitat, Gungri Port, Seosan Birdland, and Seosan B District Embankment.
Gungri Port is a modest fishing port near Namdanghang-ro in Seobu-myeon, Hongseong-gun, Chungnam, named Gungri because the village terrain is shaped like a bow. The Imhae Tourist Road to the west heads south, marking the starting point of the route. The sunset seen while driving along Cheonsuman Bay is not on the horizon but sets behind Anmyeondo Island across the sea in the west. The combination of Cheonsuman Bay, AB Embankment, Ganwoldo Island, and Anmyeondo Island beyond the horizon creates a stunning sunset view, and the Imhae Tourist Road driving course offers beautiful scenery of Cheonsuman. Gungri Port is known for abundant catches of large shrimp, pen shells, and conger eels, with fishing boats frequently entering the port. Numerous sashimi restaurants line the area, offering fresh seafood caught nearby at reasonable prices, making it famous along with Namdang-ri. Nearby, there is a Birdwatching Science Center for observing migratory birds visiting Cheonsuman, as well as the Hongseong Horse Riding Experience Center and Sokdong Coast.
Sokdong Observatory is a famous spot along the Hongseong coast, built in 2005 on the seaside road between Eosa Port and Gung-ri. From the observatory, you can see the wide expanse of Cheonsuman Bay at a glance, with a small island called Moseom right in front. In 2012, a ship-shaped photo zone was installed to create a scenic spot perfect for photography, reminiscent of a scene from the movie Titanic. Next to the observatory, a lush sea pine forest blends with the sea, and wooden stairs lead to Moseom Island, allowing visitors to always access the island and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. The path from Sokdong Observatory through the sea pine forest to the island is about 100 meters long, with steep cliffs beneath the observatory. The island's observatory boasts an unobstructed view of Cheonsuman Bay, and the sunset view from the observatory creates unforgettable memories.

Hongseong Seawall is a seawall connecting Hongseong and Boryeong, and people cross it to eat oysters from Cheonbuk, Boryeong, which can be enjoyed until March. At Hongseong-gun Hongseong Seawall, there is Suryonghang Port and the Hongseong-Boryeong Seawall Completion Memorial Tower. Parking at the completion memorial tower lot and looking around, Anmyeondo Island appears like a huge island on the western sea horizon. Also, walking inside the completion tower to the observatory, you can see the views of the Hongseong Seawall, Jukdo Island, Namdang Port, and the West Sea all at once. The wind turbines next to the completion tower create another spectacular sight. Descending toward the Suryonghang Port side of the seawall, you can appreciate the sea scenery more closely. Crossing from Hongseong Seawall toward Boryeong, it connects directly to the Cheonbuk Oyster Complex. This place belongs to West Sea Road Course 63 and is also a West Coast walking travel route connecting Namdang Port and Sokdong Observatory.
