Gayamyeon, the site of Deulkkot Workshop, is located at the entrance to Gayasan Haeinsa. It is the largest town in the area and where most convenience facilities are concentrated. The Daejanggeum Theme Park is also located here. In the middle of the town, there is Deulkkot Workshop, which offers dyeing experiences. An ordinary house is used both as a workshop and experience center, small but well-equipped. In one corner of the yard, indigo plants are even cultivated, and dyed fabrics are neatly hung on the clothesline. Easy-to-do dyeing items include scarves and handkerchiefs. After deciding the desired pattern, the fabric is tied with rubber bands. Tying vertically results in vertical patterns; tying into layered squares produces diamond or square patterns. It is a process of creating patterns through differences in dye concentration. Folded fabric is dipped several times in dye solution, rinsed in water, and dried. Besides dyeing experiences, the workshop also exhibits works by the craft artist owner and sells small items. Although not as flashy as Gayasan wildflowers, scarves, handkerchiefs, and cushions with a natural feel are available.
