Gayasang Sorigil is a lowland horizontal walking trail created by restoring and refining the old Hongryudong path along the Hongryudong Valley, spanning from Daejanggyeong Theme Park to Haeinsa Yeongsan Bridge. Visitors can easily explore the refreshing Hongryudong Valley and Gayasan pine forest, each with different seasonal charms. The trail features Gayasan landmarks such as Nongsanjeong, Chilseongdae, and Nakhwadam, allowing visitors to experience nature, history, and scenery together. At the Sorigil entrance, there is a winding valley and well-preserved pine forest. Walking from the theme park to Yeongsan Bridge, you can hear the sounds of water, birds, and wind. At Nongsanjeong, you can learn about the history of the distinguished scholar Choi Chi-won and meditate while enjoying the natural sounds from the pavilion. The section from Gilsangam to Yeongsan Bridge (end point), including Nakhwadam, is the most scenic part of the trail and considered the highlight. This section features bridges, decks, and red clay paved paths, providing high convenience for visitors.
Haeinsa is one of the three major temples in Korea, founded in the 3rd year of King Aejang of Silla by monks Sun-eung and Lee Jeong, and is also famous as a Beopbojongchal (Dharma treasure temple) named after the Haeinsammae of the Avatamsaka Sutra. King Taejo of Goryeo made this temple a national temple of Goryeo and granted it 500 gyeol of land in gratitude for Heerang, who stayed at this temple and helped repel Gyeonhwon of Later Baekje. Haeinsa is a Beopbojongchal and one of the ten Avatamsaka temples. The name 'Haein' originates from the 'Haeinsammae' of the Avatamsaka Sutra, and Haeinsa was established as a spiritual center to propagate Avatamsaka thought. Haeinsa is called a Beopbo temple, one of Korea's Sambo temples, because it houses the Beopbo of the Goryeo Tripitaka in the Daejanggeungpanjeon (Tripitaka Hall). Haeinsa has many halls including Daejanggeungpanjeon, Daejeokgwangjeon, Myeongbujeon, Dokseonggak, and Eungjinjeon. Its subsidiary hermitages include Wondangam, Hongjeam, Yongtapseonwon, Gounam, Ganweolam, and Cheongnyangsa.

Designated as Hapcheon County Park in 1983, the Hwangmaesan silver grass colony gradually became known, previously being so obscure that it was hard to find in hiking books and tourist maps. It preserves the natural landscape as it is. Beautiful valleys, stunning ridges, and plains remain as they were. In autumn, it creates a spectacular scene with true silver grass, especially the vast silver grass covering the mountain along tens of thousands of pyeong of ridge displays a unique charm. From April to October every year, it is considered an optimal place to observe stars and the Milky Way. The unspoiled silver grass scenery offers new memories never experienced before.
