Hampyeong Port, greeted by a large display reading ‘HAM PYEONG’ in English capital letters, is a harbor located at the entrance to the West Sea Hampyeong Bay, featuring a wide pier and breakwater. Its main attraction is the glass observatory, perfect for enjoying the sea at sunset. You can clearly see the silhouettes of distant land and islands, connected by Chilsan Bridge, making the sunset especially beautiful. Although small in number, fishing boats can often be seen at work, catching wild live fish, octopus, crustaceans, and more. There are no convenience facilities nearby, but there are benches in the park right in front to enjoy the breeze and sunset, providing a relaxing atmosphere.
