Jeonggeum Tea Plantation is located in Hadong near the Seomjin River and Hwagaecheon, where frequent fog, high humidity, and large day-night temperature differences create ideal natural conditions for tea cultivation. At the very top of the tea plantation is a pavilion called 'Danggeumjeong,' famous as the best photo spot with the tea plantation as a backdrop, offering a panoramic view of the green tea fields. For a closer experience, it is recommended to walk the 2.7km Millennium Tea Plantation Trail from the tea seedbed area to Jeonggeum Tea Plantation.
Sinchon Village is a village located on the Jirisan Dulle-gil Samhwasil–Daechuk section. Walking along the farm road beside the Ugyecheon stream, you will come across it. It is said that the village was named Sinchon Village, meaning a newly established village, because people started to live there around 1700. At the village entrance, there is a stone monument called 'Mullebangachon Sinchon.' Between the long stones, there is a waterwheel, and next to it in the wooden rest area stands the Virgin Mary statue of Jirisan, where passersby stop to pray. Behind the waterwheel, on the way up to the village hall, there is a pavilion that is good for resting. The path from Sinchon Village through Ugye Reservoir to Seodang Village is quite easy, almost like a walking trail among the Dulle-gil routes.
