Located opposite the Gwangju General Bus Terminal, KBC Gwangju Broadcasting opened its TV station in May 1995 and its FM radio station in February 1998. It operated a digital TV test station during the Korea-Japan World Cup broadcast and launched a digital TV station in November. In August 2011, it completed digital facilities for its HD TV production center, producing and broadcasting all programs in HD. On July 8, 2019, it relocated its headquarters from Seodong, Nam-gu, Gwangju to Gwangcheon-dong, Seo-gu. The new KBC Gwangju Broadcasting building features a news studio equipped with a DLP screen and provides various information through a large electronic billboard on the building exterior. As a private broadcaster, it has a DLP news studio, an open radio studio, and advanced digital production systems, offering high-quality content services.
