Nestled at the foot of Mudeungsan Mountain, which offers rest and leisure to citizens, there is Unnim-dong Art Museum Street centered around the Traditional Culture Center. This 3 km street of art museums starts at Gukyun Art Museum at the entrance of Jeungsimsa-gil and continues to Uijae Art Museum along the way to Jeungsimsa. Beyond the Hongrimgyo intersection in Sotae-dong stands the modest red-brick Gukyun Art Museum. Further up, visitors can enjoy the sculpture park and galleries at Woo Jaegil Museum and Mudeung Modern Art Museum. Nearby, the Deuyoung Art Museum supports young artists, and opposite it is the Traditional Culture Center. On the path leading up to Jeungsimsa, the Uijae Art Museum commemorates the artist Heo Baek-ryun who loved Mudeung.

Chosun University Rose Garden began in May 2001, inspired by alumni's love for their alma mater. Each rose flower represents the hope that students, weary from major studies, will cultivate sensitivity and character, becoming professionals with not only skills but also warm hearts mindful of society's pains. Founded in 1946 through the voluntary contributions and participation of about 72,000 founding members centered in Gwangju and Jeonnam, Chosun University has grown to represent the region. The flowers of the Rose Garden carry gratitude for the local community's love that laid the foundation for the university's establishment. From spring to autumn, roses from around the world bloom continuously at the Chosun University Rose Garden, creating a space of love where alumni and students, as well as the university and the region, come together.
