지산유원지는 2016년 12월경 11년만에 모노레일 운행을 다시 시작하며, 재개장하였다. 1개의 레일을 달리는 모노레일 특유의 덜컹거림은 탑승객들에게 스릴을 즐기게 한다. 모노레일을 탑승하면 광주 시내 전경과 무등산 정상의 모습을 한눈에 구경할 수 있다. 모노레일은 리프트의 종착점에서 숲길로 50ｍ 떨어진 산 중턱에서 출발해 팔각정이 있는 지산유원지 산 정상을 왕복하는 코스로 운행된다. 재개장 후 젊은세대 층을 중심으로 SNS와 입소문을 타고 광주 무등산에서 스릴을 즐길 수 있는 독특한 놀이시설로 인기몰이 중이다.

Yangnim-dong Penguin Village Craft Street is located behind the Yangnim-dong Community Center, following penguin-shaped signposts through narrow alleys into a village transformed into a 1970s and 1980s exhibition space. The village was named because elderly residents with knee problems waddled like penguins. Villagers cleaned up empty houses left abandoned after a fire and started displaying discarded items on the neighborhood walls, which bear the inscription, "Let us be thankful to be alive in those days." It also holds historical and cultural sites such as the Choi Seunghyo House, Wuilsa Missionary Residence, and Owen Memorial Hall. In the village center, the Penguin Joomak (pub) serves as a community gathering place, small but stocked with all necessary items. Various workshops including leather, textile, and woodworking studios are located in the craft street, where visitors can buy beautiful crafts or experience retro-style upcycling crafting that blends modern and traditional elements.

전일빌딩245는 역사적 현장으로서의 건축형태와 공간을 '245'로 상징화하여 전일 빌딩의 의미를 되새기고 미래로의 스토리텔링을 담고있다. 245의 정중안의 원은 5.18민주화 운동 당시 헬기사격의 선명한 탄흔을, 4가지 컬러 구성은 전일 빌딩의 콘텐츠 공간을 형상화하였다.

Mugaksa Temple, located on Yeoi Mountain in Seo-gu, Gwangju, is a training temple and cultural space within the city. It serves as a spiritual center leading not only Gwangju but also Honam Buddhism. Founded in 1971 by a senior monk from Songgwangsa named Gusan with the support of local Buddhists, it has played a significant role as a spiritual refuge for soldiers of Sangmu Base (Combat Arms Training Command) and in fostering their patriotic and Buddhist practice spirit. After Sangmu Base relocated to the Jangseong area in the early 1990s, Mugaksa gained attention as an urban training temple. Since the appointment of Monk Cheonghak in 2007, the temple has undergone substantial development. Currently, Mugaksa operates both day and experiential temple stay programs, attracting continuous visits from citizens.
