Guri City worked to improve the water quality of Jangja Lake in order to form the Jangja Lake Park and in the process an ecological zone was created. A 3.6 km tree-lined walking trail runs through the park and is frequently used by people enjoying an outing or getting some light exercise. Located opposite the Guri Police Station in Gwanggaeto the Great Square, the site features the Gwanggaeto the Great Stele and statue. The stele was erected in September of the 3rd year of Jangsu's reign (414 AD), two years after the death of King Gwanggaeto, in the ancient capital of Guknae-seong (Jipan), alongside the king's tomb. It is the largest four-sided stone stele in East Asia, measuring 6.39 meters in height and 1.35–2 meters in width. The stele is made from naturally and slightly carved andesite tuff in the shape of a container, with 44 lines and 1,775 characters engraved in low relief using a unique bold calligraphy style of Goguryeo based on clerical script (예서; 隸書). This inscription is considered one of the finest epigraphic records illuminating Goguryeo history of the time. The Gwanggaeto the Great statue is a bronze figure restoring the face of King Gwanggaeto who greatly extended Goguryeo's power across East Asia. The first statue of this kind in Korea, it stands 4.05 meters tall and 2.7 meters wide, erected on March 2, 2002. The statue depicts the king in his 30s wearing a ceremonial crown, holding an egg engraved with the three-legged crow (Samjok-o), a symbol of the sun, in his right hand.

The Guri Cultural Foundation is a cultural and arts institution located in Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do. Centered around Guri Art Hall, it plays a role in supporting the development of local culture and residents' enjoyment of culture through various performances, exhibitions, and cultural arts programs.

Bowon Carbonated Hot Spring is located near Guri Station in Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do. The hot spring water here is a carbonated spring created in 1998 during hot spring development when alkaline carbonated water emerged. The alkaline component neutralizes acidic bodies, which is good for skin beauty and beneficial for relieving fatigue, boosting metabolism, anemia, neuralgia, and chronic eczema. Additionally, carbonated springs promote blood circulation by having carbon dioxide deeply absorbed into the skin, stimulating it and expanding capillaries, which distinguishes it from regular public bathhouses. There is a dedicated parking lot, and Guri Traditional Market is a 3-minute walk away, where visitors can enjoy food.

Located near Guri Traditional Market, Doldari Gopchang Alley has been a food alley since 1998. At its peak, about 50 businesses were clustered here, but currently around 10 remain to maintain the tradition. The gopchang (beef or pork intestines) attracts many visitors due to its affordable price and traditional flavor. The modern and comfortable indoor atmosphere makes it popular not only among families but also from teenagers to older adults. A distinctive feature of Doldari Gopchang Alley is dipping the gopchang in chojang (spicy vinegar sauce). The well-cooked gopchang is dipped in chojang and wrapped in lettuce, a practice that originated from customers dipping gopchang in chojang at street stalls before the alley's establishment.

Guri Station Park is located right in front of Guri Station on the Jungang Line subway. Together with the nearby Doldari Park, it provides a green space in the middle of the city for a pleasant resting area. It was established on June 30, 2003, to secure green space for citizens. The park features an outdoor stage, a fountain, benches, and children's playground facilities. Various cultural performances and diverse events are held on the outdoor stage.
