Completed in 2015, Gupo-dong Saenghwal Sports Park was established in the Gangdong area of Gumi-si so that citizens can enjoy various sports close to the city center. It has been built and operated as a multi-purpose facility featuring an international standard soccer field, futsal field, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, and 160-seat spectator stands. Any Gumi citizen can use the facilities through a reservation system. For user convenience, lights have been installed allowing sports activities not only during the day but also at night. Different age groups participate individually or in groups in soccer, futsal, tennis, and other sports, including workplace clubs and children's soccer classes. Usage fees vary by day and night, weekdays and weekends, and advance reservations are recommended.

Located in Okgyedong, Gumi-si, Haemaru Park is a spacious and pleasant resting area. 'Haemaru' is a pure Korean word combining 'hae' (sea) and 'maru' (top, summit), symbolically expressing the aspiration for Gumi to become the world's leading electronic industry hub. The park features well-maintained walking trails suitable for year-round strolls. At the center is a fountain, surrounded by an observatory, an outdoor performance hall, and Turtle Plaza, providing various attractions and relaxation spaces. Additionally, exercise equipment and sports facilities are installed throughout, making it ideal for residents to enjoy light exercise or stretching.
