This pavilion was built in the 44th year of King Yeongjo of Joseon (1768) to commemorate the loyalty and scholarship of Yaeun Giljae. Giljae passed the state exam in 1386 during the Goryeo period, served as a scholar at Sungkyunkwan, and became a royal secretary. When the Joseon dynasty succeeded Goryeo, he declined official positions, stating he could not serve both dynasties, and retired to Seonsan, maintaining his integrity. The name 'Chaemi' was coined by comparing Giljae's loyalty to the Goryeo dynasty to the Chinese loyal subjects Bai Yi and Shu Qi gathering bracken. Chaemijeong is a hipped-and-gabled roof house with three bays wide and three bays deep, located on the right after passing Heunggimun. Behind it are the Gyeongmogak honoring Giljae's loyalty with King Sukjong's calligraphic poem 'Eopil Oeongu' and the Yuhyubigak monument, positioned side by side.

Located within Geumosan Provincial Park, Geumo Land is a small amusement park opened in 1993. It features rides as well as all-season sledding areas and an ice rink, making it a perfect place to spend a whole day with children. In 2023, Tinyping Land (a character goods shop) and a Ferris wheel were newly opened. With the popularity of the Tinyping character, the number of family visitors from across the country has increased, making it a new attraction in Geumosan.

구미성리학역사관은 경상북도 구미시에 위치한 제1종 공립 전문박물관으로, 조선시대 성리학의 중심지였던 구미 지역의 역사와 문화를 발굴하고 실증하기 위해 2020년에 설립되었다. 본 역사관은 구미 출신의 대표적인 성리학자인 야은 길재를 비롯해 조선 전기 주요 성리학자들의 사상과 학문적 성과를 조명하고 있다. 상설·기획전시 공간에서는 성리학의 이념과 흐름, 지역 내 사상적 전통을 체계적으로 소개하며, 연중 다양한 전시가 운영된다. 또한 인문학 강좌, 체험 프로그램, 청소년 교육 등 폭넓은 문화교육 사업을 병행함으로써 시민 인문 소양 향상에 기여하고 있다. 부대시설로는 한옥 문화카페, 전통놀이 공간, 대관시설 등이 마련되어 있어 관람객이 전통과 현대를 아우르는 문화경험을 할 수 있는 복합 인문문화공간으로 자리매김하고 있다.

Geumosan Reservoir is a type 1 reservoir located within Geumosan Provincial Park. It collects rainwater from the high flat area near the summit of Geumosan, flowing along the northern valley. Water passing Myeonggeum Waterfall forms a stream as it gathers here. The Geumosan Olle Trail is formed around the reservoir. Along the trail course, visitors can see flower paths, dirt paths, forest paths, deck paths, Je-dang paths, and a pontoon bridge. Walking along Geumosan Reservoir allows one to enjoy views reflected in the water and experience another attraction of Geumosan. Small rest areas along the trail provide good spots to take a break.

Geumridan-gil refers to the Gaksan Village area located between Gumi Station and Geumocheon and is the trendiest neighborhood in Gumi-si, where cafés and shops gather. It is a combined residential and commercial alley market. In recent years, emotional and unique cafés, restaurants, and workshops have been opening here, making it a leading cultural spot and a hotspot attracting many from the MZ generation. Taking advantage of its proximity to Geumosan, a representative tourist attraction in Gumi-si, it aims to serve as a base camp for Geumosan. It is also close to Gumi Station, making it easily accessible for travelers using the train, and its cultural atmosphere is more widely understood compared to other commercial areas. Walking through the maze-like alleyways, visitors can discover charming shops, book cafés, and book bars, allowing for personal shopping and lifestyle experiences. It is a place where one can reflect through tea and books, offering leisure time, and it is recognized as a romantic and cultural alley market.

Passing through the Gumi Station passage and walking towards Geumo Mountain, you will find Gumi Station Rear Plaza. Created on March 1, 2018, with the hearts of Gumi citizens, the plaza features the Gumi Peace Girl Statue, a symbol of peace and human rights. On one side of the plaza, there is a small performance venue, and various trees and flowers are planted seasonally, allowing visitors to feel nature's charm in the urban area. Additionally, the resting area is perfect for citizens to stop by and relax. Gumi Station Rear Plaza is a space where history, culture, and art coexist.
