Seongjeo Park is a forest-type neighborhood park located between Seongjeo Village. The park's walking trails are equipped with anti-slip facilities and solar-powered pest repellents to keep insects away. While walking along the trails lined with plants such as hydrangea, marguerite, and liriope, there are stone and wooden stairs installed in various places to make trekking interesting. At the top of the park, there is a fitness area with exercise equipment and a water tap with refreshing spring water. At the exit, there is a high-pressure dust cleaner as well as the park's pride, a cool spring water fountain. Pets are allowed (must have a leash and bring waste bags).

Goyang Ecological Park is a new concept park created as Goyang City's first ecology-themed park. Utilizing fallow land within the city, it is an ecological space where people and nature coexist, providing stable and diverse habitats for living organisms. This allows citizens to easily observe and experience the wildlife living in nature, creating a healthy ecological environment. Picnic Citizen Park is the only park in Goyang-si where cooking is permitted. It is equipped with playground facilities for children, a gateball court for seniors, basketball courts and jokgu fields for youth, as well as a mini artificial rock climbing facility and an outdoor performance stage. There are rules to follow when using the picnic area. Pets are not allowed in the cooking zone, and only portable gas stoves are permitted. Washing dishes at restrooms and sinks is prohibited, and dumping food waste and other trash is forbidden. Trash must be disposed of at designated spots with standard volume-based waste bags.

The institute strives to enhance the technical competitiveness of cactus farming households and improve the production environment through research and development. It is breeding and distributing new varieties tailored to exports and overseas market preferences while expanding the domestic market. Gyeonggi cacti are exported to more than 20 countries worldwide. Gyeonggi-do is the largest cactus producing region in Korea, accounting for 82% of the national cultivation area. In particular, the area for export cacti cultivation reaches 94% of the national total, making it the best in the country, with excellent long-term cultivation know-how and technology.
