Haengjuoedong Eel Village is located on the way up to Haengjusanseong, famous as the site of a great battle where General Kwon Yul defeated 30,000 Japanese soldiers during the 1592 Imjin War. The Eel Village offers a variety of local dishes including grilled eel, seafood stew, and spicy fish stew. Many visitors come to taste the village’s signature eel dishes.
