The Goryeo Gongyangwang Tomb is the burial site of Gongyangwang, the last king of Goryeo (reigned 1389–1392), and his wife, Queen Sunbi No. Gongyangwang was a nominal king enthroned by Yi Seong-gye and others. After the founding of Joseon, he was exiled to Wonju and was killed along with his two sons in Samcheok in 1394. He was posthumously honored as Gongyangwang in 1416, and a tomb was built in Goyang-hyeon. The queen buried with him was the daughter of No Sin and bore four princesses—Suknyeong, Jeongsin, Gyeonghwa—and Prince Changseonggun. However, she was also dethroned after the fall of Goryeo. The tomb is a double mound type with one stele and one table stone placed in front. Between the two tombs are a stone lantern and a stone tiger statue. The tiger statue reflects traditional Goryeo styles but resembles those of early Joseon royal tombs, such as those of Taejo and Taejong. Statues of civil and military officials stand on both sides of the tomb. The stone artifacts in front of the tomb are generally simple in style and technique. The stele is believed to be the original, but the stone marking the tomb inscribed with "Goryeo Gongyangwang Goreung" was erected during King Gojong's reign in Joseon.

Aqua Planet Ilsan is the largest aquarium in the Seoul metropolitan area, located near the Hallyu World development site in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do. It is notable for being the first aquarium in Korea combined with an indoor zoo. Marine and land animals from around the world live here, allowing visitors to see walruses, ring-tailed lemurs, hyacinth macaws, and various other creatures in one place. There are many attractions including the Deep Blue Ocean large tank with fascinating magic shows, the Ocean Arena offering various ecological presentations, and the Tree Rest Area where visitors can meet jungle animals. These provide both entertainment and educational experiences. Additionally, there are various subsidiary shops and gift stores on site.

Seooreung (西五陵) means 'five tombs located in the west' and refers to five royal tombs: Gyeongneung (敬陵), Changneung (昌陵), Ikneung (翼陵), Myeongneung (明陵), and Hongneung (弘陵). Seooreung is the second largest group of Joseon royal tombs after Donggureung in Guri. In 1457 (the 3rd year of King Sejo), the first tomb, Uimyo (懿墓, Gyeongneung) of Crown Prince Uigyeong, Sejo's first son, was established. In 1470 (the 1st year of King Seongjong), Changneung (昌陵) of King Yejong was the first royal tomb constructed. Subsequently, tombs were added for Crown Prince Sunhoe (Sunchangwon), Queen Ingyeong (Ikneung), King Sukjong (Myeongneung), and Queen Jeongseong (Hongneung), making five tombs and one garden during the Joseon era. In the 1970s, the tomb of Yeongbin Lee (Sugeongwon, 綏慶園) and the Daebin tomb (대빈묘) of Ok-san Bu-dae-bin Jang were relocated here, forming the current Seooreung.
