📍 Gangwon-teukbyeoljachi-do Goseong-gun Ayajinhaebyeon-gil 73 Omi Naengmyeon
Omi Naengmyeon is a Gangwon-do naengmyeon (cold noodle) restaurant with a tradition passed down through three generations. The first-generation owner, in his 70s, still impressively hand-kneads the noodles himself. The signature dishes are myeongtae hoe naengmyeon (cold noodles with pollock sashimi) and suyuk (boiled pork slices). When ordering naengmyeon, cold broth and warm broth are each served in teapots, and the naengmyeon is served as a single type without separate mul (water) or bibim (mixed) options. Diners pour the cold broth according to their preference. The suyuk, with the right balance of lean meat and fat, is neatly presented with myeongtae hoe. Located by Ayajin Beach, it also offers an excellent sea view. Nearby attractions include Cheonggan Beach, Ayajin Port, and Cheonhakjeong.
Nearby sights and easy walks are shown first so the meal can become part of a route.
