Junghwa Reservoir is located northwest of the Goreungun Office. It is in Junghwa-ri, Daegaya-eup, with a circumference exceeding ten ri. It serves as an all-weather agricultural water source that never suffers from drought across six villages' fields. The surrounding landscape is well developed with Ureuk Ecological Trail and Waterside Ecological Park. Although currently called Junghwa Reservoir, it was formerly known as Natmotsil. The reservoir is beautiful, harmonizing the surrounding natural scenery and diverse ecosystems. Based on this background, it is also a good place for a leisurely walk.
