Hancheon Reservoir is a great spot to stop by and rest while taking a drive during your trip to Gongju. It is managed by the Gongju branch of the Chungcheongnam-do Headquarters of the Korea Rural Community Corporation. Located in an area beneath Museongsan Mountain with good water and deep water depth, Hancheon Reservoir is home to shrimp and smelt. There are almost no factories or livestock farms nearby, making it a well-known clean reservoir for a long time. The rural scenery is superb, and people who enjoy bicycle sports often take commemorative photos in front of Hancheon Reservoir.
