Hwangaksan (1,111m) features peaks such as Birobong, Baegunbong (770m), Sinseonbong (944m), and Unsobong (740m), surrounding Jikjisa Temple. Traditionally, cranes frequently visited the mountain, leading to its old name 'Hwanghaksan.' The dense forest covers Hwangaksan, and the valleys flowing east create numerous waterfalls and pools. It is famous for its beautiful autumn foliage and winter snow scenes. From the summit, you can see Munjusan to the west, Sudosan and Gayasan to the south, Geumosan to the east, and Poseongbong to the north.
