Like the ‘Chorong bird’ and the ‘Geumgang Chorong flower,’ which live only in pristine areas, you can experience various programs in the clear and clean nature of Chorong-i Dungji Village. Located at the southernmost tip of Gapyeong-gun, Chorong-i Dungji Village is also known by the village name 'Guksu Teo,' derived from [菊水] because the chrysanthemum flowers look like they are floating on water. The valley's water is considered the best in the country and the name changed to Guksu (國水), reflecting its purity. Visiting Chorong-i Dungji Village allows you to enjoy clear, clean pristine nature and various experiences. South lies Yongmunsan, southwest is Yumesan, and east is Bongmisan. This area is the source of the pure Miwon Stream, known for its long-standing tradition and respect for etiquette, and is well-known for preserving the primeval forest ecosystem. It is a mountainous village that continues to inherit and develop its distinct flavors using natural materials sourced from nature. It was also selected as a rural travel destination by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Rural Community Corporation.
