Opened in 2009, Ihwawon is located within Jarasum in Gapyeong and spans a total area of about 10,000 pyeong, divided into the Korean Pavilion and the Tropical Pavilion. The Korean Pavilion is a large-scale botanical garden themed around the harmony of the Seoul metropolitan area, non-metropolitan areas, Yeongnam, and Honam regions.
