Heo Gyun and Heo Nanseolheon Memorial Park honors Heo Gyun, who wrote the first Hangul novel Hong Gil-dong jeon during the Joseon dynasty and is praised for his progressive ideas, as well as Heo Nanseolheon, recognized as a leading female literary figure for her cultural achievements. The site includes Heo Nanseolheon's birthplace, the Heo Gyun and Heo Nanseolheon Memorial Hall, and a traditional tea experience hall. Heo Nanseolheon’s birthplace features a wide love yard beyond a gate with traditional eaves, housing a square main building. The memorial hall is a single-story wooden Korean-style tiled roof building with a main exhibition room and a small exhibition room.
