Ganghwa Central Market is a traditional market naturally formed in a densely populated residential area. In 2008, its facilities were improved and it was reborn as a community-oriented [Our Neighborhood Central Market]. The central market is divided into A Building and B Building, consisting of about 110 stores (including 26 street vendors). A Building retains the traditional market form, while B Building features neatly renovated commercial shops. In A Building, the basement first floor and first floor have supermarkets, the second floor specializes in clothing stores, and the third floor houses a taekwondo academy. B Building’s basement first floor includes pubs and a tea room, the first floor has a supermarket, the second floor has shops selling hanbok and bedding as well as a mission association, and the third floor contains tutoring academies. With a total of 35 stores and shops concentrated here, local residents and tourists can conveniently shop.
