History experience from Goryeo to Joseon in Incheon Ganghwa-gun · schedule Other · distance 32.6km · 6 stops · highlights Yongheunggung Palace, Seodo Ce…

Ganghwado can rightly be called the island of history. During the Goryeo Dynasty, it served as the capital during the Mongol invasions and was also a base for the Sambyeolcho. In the Joseon Dynasty, the crown prince and his party stayed here during the Byeongjahoran. The Oegwujanggak, which was looted during the Byeonginyangyo, was also located on Ganghwado. It is an ideal cultural heritage exploration course where significant historical remains of Ganghwado remain.
