Hansem Beach & Hansem Emotional Sea Road | Attraction Guide

Hansem Beach is a must-visit tourist attraction because it is located close to Donghae city and offers convenient transportation. Following the Hansem sign down the hill leads to a bridge connected to the beach, where a white fine sandy shore and a vast blue sea spread out. Being small in scale, the entire beach can be seen at a glance, and unlike other nearby famous beaches, it is quiet and peaceful, attracting visitors who want to enjoy the sea leisurely. The dense pine forest surrounding the beach, the white waves crashing on the sea's rocky formations, and walks on the fine sand all present a beautiful scene, accentuated by the distant view of Mukho Lighthouse over the clear blue sea. Hansem Emotional Sea Road is a 2.2 km coastal walking trail connecting Gamchusa overpass, Hansem Beach, Gobulgae, and Gase Village. About one-third of the entire section is a deck trail built on a coastal cliff, offering views of dense pine forests and deep blue sea on both sides.
