Our proud warship, once commanding the vast ocean, has been honorably retired and transformed into a unique space at Sapgyoho Naval Vessel Park where visitors can experience the history and culture of the Navy and Marine Corps. The park features themed exhibition halls on the Navy and Marine Corps, displays inside and outside the ship, and aircraft, allowing children to develop a fascination with the sea and a sense of closeness to the Navy and Marines. Additionally, the 3D theater, game center, carnival plaza, and indoor amusement facilities offer a chance to temporarily forget everything and enjoy the joyful world of childhood. The park’s distinctive resting area, the ship café, provides enjoyment and richness to life.

Puregi Village, located in Chorak-ri in the southwestern northernmost part of Dangjin-gun, Chungnam, was originally an island. It became connected to the mainland with the completion of the Daeho Barrage in the 1980s. The place name Chorakdo (草落島) carries a legendary meaning that a single blade of grass fell and formed the island, hence it has long been called Puregi. It is also said to be called Puregi because it means 'an island full of grass'; Puregi is a word derived from jipuragi (straw). The village started cultivating medicinal mugwort and developed steamed mugwort and mugwort sauna treatments, leading to its designation as a distinctive village in 2000. Even today, the vast lake and the West Sea connect, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the beautiful fields and sea views. The village is especially famous for its beautiful cherry blossom road in spring. The recreational experience building has experience facilities on the first floor and guest rooms and barbecue facilities on the second floor. Surrounding facilities include a foot bath experience center and a Catholic chapel, making it a pleasant place for light walks. The village is also called a healing experience village, offering day healing health programs and longer stay programs. Representative healing programs include medicinal mugwort foot bath experience, health tea making, healing craft experiences like making pressed flower and medicinal mugwort soap, healing horticulture and natural dyeing experiences, and healing food-making experiences. Additionally, various experiences like mudflat experience, tofu making, and kimchi making are also available.
