The main agricultural products here include rice, barley, sesame, chili peppers, and garlic. Recently, successful test cultivation of ginseng has been achieved, and bamboo production is significant among forest products. Saarigwangjuri baskets are produced as a side business in Uihang-ri and Yongsu-ri. Specialty products include Hangwa (traditional Korean confectionery), bamboo salt, and rice syrup.
