Gwangdeoksa Temple, located in Dalseong-gun, Daegu, is a temple affiliated with Donghwasa, the head temple of the 9th district of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. The temple was founded in 1967 by Jeong Unseong. Gwangdeoksa also operates a columbarium. On special days such as Buddha's Birthday, many people visit this place. The temple buildings include the Daeungbojeon Hall, Sanshingak Shrine, Dokseonggak Shrine, and monk’s quarters; at the temple entrance, there is the Beomjonggak bell pavilion and a statue of Budai Hwasang. This temple is situated in a tranquil natural setting, offering visitors a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.

※Fishing is prohibited as it is a water supply protection zone. The area around Gachang Reservoir is good for walking. Gachang Dam-gil is a nature-friendly walking and driving course that connects a wooden deck trail, forest path, and village along Gachang Heolti-ro and the reservoir waterfront area. It has become a popular rest spot for Daegu citizens. To get a full view of Gachang Reservoir, you can climb Juam Mountain located in Dalseong-gun, Daegu. The water from Gachang Reservoir is used for drinking and agricultural purposes. Fishing is prohibited in the water source protection area.

Gachang Steamed Bun Alley is located in Gachang-myeon, Dalseong-gun, Daegu Metropolitan City. It gathers along the main road leading to Gachang Dam and around Gachang-ro, which heads to the Gachang-myeon Administrative Welfare Center, accessed from Sincheon-daero towards Gachang and Cheongdo from the Daegu direction. Known for its delicious steamed buns among citizens and tourists traveling from Suseong-gu Padong to Gachang Naengcheon (Spa Valley), Gachang Dam, Heolti-jae, and Cheongdo, the alley's history began in 2000 when a steamed bun shop opened opposite the Gachang-myeon Office. Over 20 years later, nine steamed bun shops have formed the alley. It gained fame after being first featured on Daegu local broadcasts, appearing on several programs nationwide and becoming a well-known Daegu specialty street. Gachang steamed buns have established themselves as a representative brand of Dalseong, Daegu. Each shop boasts its own characteristics and strengths, securing regular customers and creating lines of buyers. In winter, the white steam rising from steaming dumplings and buns covers the street, proving that this is indeed Gachang Moragmorag Steamed Bun Alley.
