Hyeonpung Seokbinggo is a stone warehouse built to store ice. It is constructed lengthwise in a north-south direction, with the entrance facing south, located on the ridge backing a stream. The stones used are all granite, and from the outside it appears like a tumulus. The entrance is framed with long, shaped stones forming a rectangular doorway, and the back wall is filled with stone to block outside air. The exterior is made by piling up stones and packing them with clay before covering with earth. Well-shaped stones form the walls and ceiling; the ceiling features four rainbow-shaped arches (虹霓), with long large stones placed between them to form an arch. Two ventilation openings are installed in the ceiling with covers to protect against rainwater. The floor is paved with flat stones, and a drainage hole is located in the center. Although ice storage warehouses were not common in every village at the time, it is remarkable that such a Seokbinggo was built in the small Hyeonpung area. During repair work around the Seokbinggo in 1982, a construction monument (建城碑) was discovered, revealing it was made in 1730.

The restaurant started in the 1950s as a rural eatery serving doenjang jjigae and occasionally made gomtang on special days. The gomtang gained popularity through word of mouth and became the main menu. The first representative, Grandma Bak Soseon, began under the name [Halmaejip] and the tradition has continued for three generations over 70 years. Alongside Haeju and Naju, it is one of the three great gomtangs in the country, representing Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions. Known for its clear gomtang broth and generous variety of meat cuts harmoniously blended in the rich soup.

Duryu Park is located in Dalseo-gu, the center of Daegu Metropolitan City, and is the largest park in Daegu. In 1977, Daegu city created this 500,000-pyeong park, which features a large outdoor concert hall, a cultural arts center, library, sports facilities such as a baseball stadium, tennis courts, and a swimming pool, as well as memorial facilities like the 2.28 Memorial Tower and the Person Hill. The 83 Tower, located at the summit of Duryusan, is a landmark of Daegu with an observation deck 200 meters high offering panoramic views of Daegu city. Seasonal events include a cherry blossom festival in spring, cooling amenities such as fountains and a swimming pool in summer, autumn foliage viewing spots in fall, and an ice skating rink within the park for winter enjoyment. From the north entrance, Duryu Station on Subway Line 2 is about 500 meters away, and from Seobu Jeongryujang Station on Line 1, it is about 600 meters to Seongdang Pond in the southwest edge of the park, making accessibility excellent.
