Dosan Seowon (Daejeon) is a seowon established to commemorate late Joseon Dynasty figures Manhoe Kwon Deukgi and his son Tanong Kwon Si. Kwon Deukgi was a scholar who studied Confucianism after serving as a junior official in the Ministry of Rites. Kwon Si was also an outstanding scholar, who served in various official posts before retiring to his hometown to focus on scholarship. This seowon was founded in 1693 (19th year of King Sukjong) by the collective will of Confucian scholars, and in 1711 (37th year of King Sukjong) it received a royal plaque, becoming a royal-sealed seowon. It originally consisted of 23 kan, including a three-kan shrine, three-kan grave gate, four-kan lecture hall, three-kan study, four-kan south quarters, and three-kan servant quarters, but was demolished under Heungseon Daewongun's order to abolish seowons. In 1921, an altar was established and rituals were performed; the Andong Kwon clan restored it twice in 1968 and 1973. Recognized for its cultural value, it was designated as Daejeon Metropolitan City Tangible Cultural Property on March 18, 1989. Rituals are held in the lunar March and September. Additionally, a guide is stationed to welcome tourists and programs such as traditional folk painting experience (Dosan's Hwacong), scholar education experience (One Day of a Confucian Student), art performances (Dosan Wayuhoe), and advanced docent education about Dosan Seowon are offered.

Namsun Park is located in Tanbang-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon Gwangyeoksi, established to expand the base of citizen sports and to lay the foundation for a healthy welfare society. It is equipped with various facilities including a forest, exercise facilities, walking paths, hiking trails, Myeonghakso Memorial Tower, and Namsunjung. In particular, there is an indoor skating rink enjoyed by many visitors. The park has good accessibility, being close to Daejeon Metro Tanbang Station and Yongmun Station. Nearby are Daejeon Expo Citizen Plaza, Hanbat Arboretum, and Expo Science Park, making it ideal for linked tourism.
