Heukseok-dong is a quiet rural village located between Gasuwon-dong and Jangtaesan Natural Recreation Forest, covering quite a wide area from mountains, fields, village, to waterside. The Heukseok Recreation Area here features waterside facilities suitable for summer water play and a free camping ground. The water is shallow, making it a good place to visit with children. There is also a well-maintained walking trail for quietly enjoying the scenery. The recreation area is close to Anyoung IC, and nearby is the Jangtaesan Natural Recreation Forest, making it a good spot to visit together.
