Jangtaesan Natural Recreation Forest features a dense forest of metasequoia, unique in Korea, offering an exotic landscape ideal for family forest bathing. This area harmonizes perfectly with its pristine natural scenery and provides well-maintained walking trails, a health pressure footpath, nostalgic playgrounds, a textbook botanical garden, an ecological pond, and a forest classroom, allowing visitors to enjoy both nature study and relaxation simultaneously. Additionally, there is a small (380㎡) sports area for group games, mini soccer, and basketball. The forest also includes a skyway, observatory, and slope play facilities, creating special spaces to experience the metasequoia forest. From the observatory on the Brother Rocks at the summit of Jangtaesan, visitors can view the sunset and admire unique rock formations such as Janggunbong and Haengsangbawi.
