The park features the Hanbit Tower, which symbolizes a ray of light connecting the wise past with the present and future. The 93-meter-high Hanbit Tower, themed on science and space, serves as an observatory offering views of the park and Daejeon city. In front of Hanbit Tower is the Mulbit Square music fountain, which leads to Expo Bridge and provides exciting music and fountain shows for visitors. During the night operations, a spectacular media facade is displayed against the backdrop of Hanbit Tower, featuring colorful video projections using special lighting.
Jangdong Forest Bathing Area is a forest bathing site located on Gyejoksan in Daedeok-gu, Daejeon. Opened in 1995 by utilizing the natural forest of Gyejoksan, this place serves as a resting space easily accessible to Daejeon residents and tourists, where visitors can breathe the clean air and phytoncides of Gyejoksan through forest bathing. It is located in a forest valley below Gyejoksanseong and is used as a rest area with sports facilities, a hiking circuit, and adventure play facilities. Equipped with more than 20 types of sports, adventure, and play facilities, hiking circuits, a water play area, and a lawn plaza, it also serves as the starting point of the Gyejoksan Hwangto Road. On the Gyejoksan Hwangto Road starting from the forest bathing area, barefoot walking experiences are possible, allowing visitors to experience the health benefits given by nature. Nearby tourist attractions include Gyejoksan, Gyejoksanseong, Sandi Village Camping Site, and Hoedeok Metasequoia Road.
