The Korea Hyo Culture Promotion Institute is a specialized institute established to support and encourage hyo (filial piety) culture activities. It plays a role in enhancing the value of hyo and inheriting and developing the spirit of hyo through various experiential activities and education/research centered on hyo. There are five exhibition rooms themed on hyo (Hyo Practice Room, Hyo Sharing Room, Hyo Feeling Room, Hyo Empathy Room, Hyo Understanding Room) where visitors can learn, understand, and feel hyo through videos and exhibits containing beautiful filial piety stories from history. Additionally, customized educational programs by generation, such as traditional etiquette and tea ceremony experience and character education based on hyo, allow learning the meaning of filial piety and the importance of family. The institute also publishes research books such as the Hyo Culture Archives and research series through research projects aimed at preserving traces of filial piety remaining nationwide.
