Honam Wonjo Restaurant is located in Ban gogae Muchimhoe Alley, Naedang-dong, Seo-gu, Daegu. It is a specialty restaurant for muchimhoe (seasoned raw fish salad) that started business in 1968. The restaurant has appeared on the KBS 2TV current affairs and culture program Saengsaeng Jeongbotong. Its clean exterior and interior stand out, and there are group seats inside, making it ideal for various gatherings. The signature dish is Honam Muchimhoe, which combines boiled squid, conch, radish, water dropwort, and vegetables with a spicy seasoning based on red pepper powder. It is delicious when mixed with rice, and also a delicacy when served with yukjeon (pan-fried beef) or flat dumplings. The restaurant is close to Ban gogae Station on Daegu Subway Line 2 and Seodaegu IC.
