Apsan Observatory is a tourist attraction where you can see the entire Daegu cityscape at a glance. The observatory building embodies the history and symbolism of Apsan Laundry Site Park, with its design shaped like the act of wringing laundry. The architecture of Apsan Observatory is regarded as a successful blend of city, nature, history, and future. In addition to being popular with tourists, the observatory serves as an educational site for Daegu citizens to learn about what kind of city Daegu is. Access is possible by taking a cable car from Keungol to the observatory (15 minutes) or hiking on the trail from Anjirangol to the observatory (1 hour).
99 Steps Mural Village is located opposite the antique art street in Icheon-dong, Nam-gu, Daegu, which is known as an antique street like Insadong in Seoul. It is especially meaningful because murals were created on the 99 Steps alley, a slope with old hanok clustered at the foot of Sudosan in Icheon-dong, which previously had only dark and dull cement walls, turning it into a bright mural alley. It is near Geondeulbawi Station on the subway, making it convenient to visit by public transportation. The murals were painted by the art club of Daegu High School and high school students from the Daegu area, adding more significance. The murals, titled "Live happily until 99," consist of various themes ranging from classical landscapes to pictures that children would like. Climbing the stairs while enjoying the murals leads to Seobongsa, a traditional temple on Sudosan, where visitors can view an open panorama. Below Seobongsa, there is a café and small library where visitors can enjoy the view and spend a quiet and leisurely time with a cup of tea.

Bongdeok Market is one of the representative markets in Nam-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City. During the Korean War, the market overflowed with goods flowing in from nearby U.S. military bases. From rations to blankets, sewing machines, frying pans, and all kinds of used products and military supplies filled the market. Born naturally from this unfortunate history, Daegu Nam-gu Bongdeok Market enjoyed its heyday in the 1970s and 1980s and grew into one of Daegu's four major markets. However, unlike its glamorous start, the market's business has not been good recently due to large marts and online shopping malls. Since 2004, with support from the Small and Medium Business Administration, efforts have been made to modernize facilities, including arcade installation and securing parking lots, to help customers shop conveniently.
