Daecheong Park in Daejeon, located near Daecheong Dam, is a representative resting space in the Chungcheong region. The Rock Garden is a botanical garden within Daecheong Park, situated beneath the lawn plaza on the park's west side. Upon entering the garden, visitors first see a grass lawn where about 10 herbaceous plants like rice, sukkeureong, silver grass, pi, and muldae grow. Next to it is the rock garden, which recreates an environment where over 50 species of alpine plants and rocks harmoniously thrive. Each unusual flower and plant uncommon in daily life has a label showing its name and description. Benches and walking paths are well arranged, making it great for educational purposes and enjoyable walks while viewing the plants.
