애니메이션 박물관은 2003년 10월 1일 국내에서 최초로 애니메이션을 주제로 한 전문박물관으로 개관하였다. 애니메이션의 기원, 원리 및 종류, 탄생과 발전, 세계와 한국의 애니메이션관 등 다양한 전시관이 있다. 또한, 기존의 박물관 개념에서 탈피하여 각종 체험코너가 있는 복합 박물관이다. 공포의 스튜디오, 핀스크린 체험기, 3D입체영화관, 인형애니메이션 체험 코너 등과 별관으로 애니메이션 전용 상영관이 있으며, 200여 석 규모로 애니메이션작품 필름과 DVD 모두 상영이 가능하다.

Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Arboretum is a public arboretum operated by Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, opened in 1999 to provide a forest recreation and nature learning space in the city. It offers opportunities to experience the precious value of nature through strengthening conservation functions both on-site and off-site, including research on collecting, propagating, and preserving plant genetic resources, as well as providing a national nature experience learning center and resting space. It holds a total of 1,827 species and about 85,000 plants, including 129 rare species such as Sansomdari, Modemipul, Yellow Manbyeongcho, and Hongwolgul; 49 endemic species such as Modemipul, Geumgangbommati, Geumgangchorongkkot, and Gaenussam; and 136 climate change vulnerable species including Dumaedaknamu, Jebidongjakot, Deudaesihho, and Geumkkwaengui Dari. Seasonal colorful flowers bloom and fall, offering unique scenery and enjoyment. In spring, visitors can enjoy flowers along the cherry tree path and azalea garden; in summer, cool moments at the fountain plaza and metasequoia forest; in autumn, chrysanthemum exhibitions; and in winter, a warm glass greenhouse with fresh greenery. The arboretum also operates a Forest Museum, featuring permanent exhibitions on the flora and fauna of Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, mountain village life, a special exhibition hall, and a 3D video room. The aquatic plant garden with a pond, artificial waterfall, and pavilion, along with the children's garden—a natural playground for kids—are must-see highlights of the arboretum.

Dungeun Dakgalbi is a dakgalbi restaurant located in Sanong-dong, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do. Chuncheon is a region famous for dakgalbi and makguksu, with many dakgalbi restaurants throughout the area. Dakgalbi originated in the late 1950s to early 1960s at a bar in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, where marinated chicken rib meat was grilled over a charcoal fire as a drinking snack. With many poultry farms in Hongcheon and Chuncheon, it gained popularity among workers at nearby dam construction sites and military bases, becoming a representative food of Chuncheon. Popular dishes include dakgalbi marinated in a homemade sauce, grilled on a cast iron plate with ingredients like rice cakes and sweet potatoes, as well as dak bossam, which is also favored by many. Customers can also enjoy cabbage and various wrap vegetables grown directly by the owner. Eating spicy dakgalbi followed by refreshing makguksu is a must-have course.

Chuncheon Myeongdong Street is a bustling downtown area similar to Seoul's Myeongdong, hosting government offices such as Gangwon Provincial Office and Chuncheon City Hall, as well as major banks. The street area is densely packed with various shops including clothing stores, cosmetics shops, shoe stores, cafes, and restaurants. In the central street, there is a sculpture commemorating the filming location of the drama 'Winter Sonata.' There are diverse cultural and shopping facilities including M Department Store, Brown 5th Avenue, and a movie theater. Beneath the central rotary lies a large underground shopping mall housing over 350 stores. Centered around Myeongdong are Dakgalbi Alley, Yukrim Gogae, and Chuncheon Jungang Market, offering a variety of entertainment options.

춘천시 동면 월곡리에 있는 춘천 옥광산은 한국에 하나밖에 없는 옥광산이자 전 세계에서 유일한 백옥광산이다. 납석 광산을 운영하던 대일광업(주)이 옥을 발견한 후 1974년 옥광산을 설립했으며, ‘옥산가 춘천옥’이라는 자체 상품명으로 옥 관련 제품을 출시하고 있다. 옥광산의 연옥은 경도가 6∼6.5도로 세계 최고 품질을 자랑할 뿐 아니라 인장 강도도 다이아몬드와 비견될 정도로 강해 잘 깨지지 않는 장점이 있다.
