Eungol Gugija Village, located in the northwest of Cheongyang-gun, is operated with experiences such as harvesting pepper, gugija (Chinese wolfberry), chestnuts, shiitake mushrooms, various wild vegetables, gugija sweets, and gugija shoots grown in fertile soil and a clean environment. Additionally, using the upper village reservoir, there are facilities including a swimming pool that can accommodate about 100 people, pavilions, basketball courts, benches, and a jokgu (foot volleyball) court. The water quality of the stream flowing at the village entrance has been improved to offer fish-catching experiences with crucian carp, catfish, bagasari, and mountain trout, along with a nostalgic rural experience of catching crayfish. The village also operates various programs such as the pepper and gugija festival, kimchi making, and agricultural specialty product sales events.
