Nangchugol is the first place in Korea to start nature observation experiential learning and one-day experiential learning, operating both an experiential learning center and a camping site. It is divided into a field experiential learning area and an animal breeding observation area. The field experiential learning area includes Dokkaebi Exploration Trail, four-season sledding areas (grass sledding, water sledding, snow sledding), swimming pool, water play area, fear experience zone, wild herb observation site, valley observation study area, folk playground, and adventure playground. The animal breeding observation area provides an insect experience zone (fireflies and stag beetles), mixed animal breeding enclosures, hiking trails (herbal plant observation on the mountain), and forest interpretation to aid nature experiences. Due to its large scale, it is widely used by schools and grades as an experiential learning site, offering diverse experiences throughout the year. Additionally, the well-equipped play facilities make it a recreational space enjoyable for children and families alike.
