경상북도 청도군에 위치한 연꽃 연못이다. 청도 9경 중 제7경으로 유호연지, 신라지라고도 하며 둘레가 600m, 깊이가 2m에 이른다. 둘레길이 조성되어 있어 한여름 만개한 연꽃을 감상하며 산책하기 좋다. 모헌 이육이 무오사화로 인해 화양읍 유등리에 은거하면서 연을 심고 군자정을 세우면서 시작되었다. 이육이 ‘연은 꽃 중에 군자다’라고 하며 연을 심고 못 위에 정자를 지어 군자정이라 하였으며 이곳에서 문우들과 시를 읊기도 하고 후진들에게 글을 가르치면서 유유자적한 여생을 보냈다. 청도군에서는 매년 4월 초파일 이곳에서 ‘청도 유등 축제’를 연다. 등에 불을 밝히는 점등으로 개제하여 헌다례를 봉행한다. 이 밖에도 소원지 달기, 유등 띄우기, 솟대 까기와 연등 만들기, 염주 만들기 등의 체험이 준비되어 있다.
