Introduction

성환역 인근에 자리 잡은 ‘진주회관’은 1981년부터 긴 시간 동안 한자리를 지키며 한결같은 맛으로 동네 주민들 사이에서 입소문이 난 곳이다. 2015년부터는 아들이 대를 이어받아 아버지의 손맛을 고스란히 이어가고자 한다. 대표 메뉴는 간장 양념에 재운 얇은 소고기를 버섯, 양파, 대파와 함께 끓여 먹는 ‘진주불고기’. 천안 성환의 특산물인 배를 갈아 넣어 부드러운 육질과 많이 달지 않은 맛이 특징이다. 불고기를 끓이며 우러나오는 소고기의 감칠맛과 달짝지근한 국물이 어우러진 맛이 일품이다. 경양식 스타일로 돼지고기를 얇게 핀 다음 반죽을 입혀 바삭하게 튀겨낸 ‘왕돈까스’도 인기 메뉴다.
