Bosanwon 1-ri is located about 30 minutes from Namcheonan I.C, making it easily accessible from Seoul and the metropolitan area, and reachable within an hour from Daejeon City. Known as the birthplace of Cheonan specialty walnut cookies, this area is rich with relics and historic sites, situated beneath Gwangdeoksan where the scenic Gwangdeokcheon River winds gracefully. It is a pristine area inhabited by fireflies, offering local specialty experiences and foods such as shiitake mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, deodeok, garlic, and potatoes. In front of Gwangdeoksa Daewoongjeon, founded by monk Jajang during Queen Seondeok's reign, stands a natural monument walnut tree over 400 years old, symbolizing the home of walnut cookies. Numerous cultural heritage sites, including the Goryeosa Gyeong (Treasure), are scattered throughout the area.

Deokamgyo Bridge is built over a tributary called Pungseocheon, which starts from Gwangdeoksan Mountain's Gwangdeok Valley in Cheonan, passing through Gwangdeokgyo and Bosanwongyo bridges. Below the bridge is a fishing spot popular with anglers, and it is also one of Cheonan's open-air camping sites. Originally developed as a park, it became known as a car camping site due to heavy usage. Many camping caravans are seen, but camping by the riverside in rainy weather, long-term parking, and leaving tents set up for extended periods are prohibited. Visitors can enjoy fresh air while walking the Gwangdeoksan mountain trail. Amenities include a drinking fountain and restrooms. Washing dishes or clothes at the drinking fountain is prohibited; it is to be used only for drinking.
