[Selected as a 'Baeknyeon Gage' by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2018] Keundaek started in 1989 as 'Janggun Sikdang,' passing down the mother's know-how. In 2001, it moved to a spacious location over 400 pyeong and changed its name to 'Keundaek.' This place cooks without using seasoning but brings out the original aroma and taste of the ingredients based on traditional Korean cooking methods. It seasons dishes with Joseon soy sauce made from domestic soybean meju and traditional fermented soybean paste. Seasonal ingredients are carefully selected, and side dishes are homemade to meet the changing menu each season. The signature menu, 'Keundaek Jeongsik,' starts with seasonal porridge and offers specialties in order such as Chungcheong-style kimchi, yukhoe, tteokgalbi, and bossam. Foreign customer-tailored meals and vegetarian food can be ordered by reservation before visiting.
Nearby sights and easy walks are shown first so the meal can become part of a route.
