1997 Yeonggukjip on Changwon Garosugil is a bakery cafe combining a cafe, bakery, and gallery in one place. The cafe exterior, fitting its name, is an exotic Western-style building reminiscent of those seen in England. The first-floor cafe has an antique and classic interior, creating an atmosphere that pairs well with black tea, while the basement industrial cafe offers a modern and sophisticated vibe. They offer freshly baked scones, pretzels, croissants, madeleines, and more. Upstairs on the second floor is a gallery where exhibited items are also for sale. The first room is a leather workshop featuring handmade leather shoes and vintage furniture; the second is an antique workshop with classic and Rococo-style accessories and items; the third room features modern and simple goods. This small shopping mall perfectly fuses various stores in one building, allowing visitors to enjoy sightseeing, eating, and shopping. Since there is no parking lot, it is recommended to use the Garosugil or nearby Dominui-jip parking lot.
