Masan Port Central Pier Park is a coastal park located in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam. It is a place where visitors can enjoy walking and relaxing while admiring the sea and port views.

Starting in the mid-1990s, eel barbecue specialty restaurants began to open one by one along the coastal road opposite Masan Fish Market, creating Jangeo Gui Street. Currently, there are 22 eel cuisine specialty restaurants on Jangeo Gui Street. Some restaurants offer rooftop seating with refreshing views of the sea and Machang Bridge, while others have outdoor tables by the seaside, allowing visitors to choose according to their preference. Eel dishes mainly include eel marinated barbecue, eel salt-grilled, eel soup, and eel noodles. Additionally, dishes like eel rice bowls and sashimi are also sold, offering a variety of meals to enjoy.

In the early 1960s, a woman known as the Hokkoburi grandmother, who ran a salted eel restaurant in the central Masan district of Odongdong, created a dish by steaming monkfish caught by fishermen with soybean paste, red chili paste, bean sprouts, water parsley, green onions, and more. This spicy, fiery, chewy, and mild-tasting dish became widely known among Masan Port fishermen. As a result, a street with about 20 agu jjim (steamed monkfish) restaurants naturally formed around Odongdong. Agujjim originated in Masan and is now loved nationwide. The main ingredients, monkfish, water parsley, and bean sprouts, are rich in vitamins A, B1, and C, making it good for skin care and particularly appetizing when one has no appetite. Masan Odongdong Agujjim Street features specialty dried monkfish stew restaurants, offering a unique taste experience.

At the end of the Goryeo period, in the 7th year of King Chungnyeol's reign, the Yuan Dynasty established Jeongdonghangseong to prepare for an expedition to Japan. However, after the failure of the two invasion attempts, in October of that year, a military camp was set up on Hwanjusan (currently the area behind Muhak Elementary School in Jasan-dong near the Masan City Museum). Monggojeong is believed to be a well made by the military stationed there to use water. A round stone about 1.4m in diameter, called the "Monggojeong Millstone," was found nearby; some say it was a horse mill wheel, but it appears to have been used as a millstone. The stone monument beside the well, inscribed with "Monggojeong," was erected in 1932 by the Masan Historic Preservation Society (a Japanese historic group) with derogatory intent; before that it was probably called Goryejeong. Monggojeong, now covered by a wooden lid, was used until modern times as a communal water source for local residents and its water was favored by soy sauce factories.

Happo Waterfront Park was created to provide a resting place for citizens on a pier adjacent to the sea, featuring rest areas, sports facilities, an outdoor plaza, ground fountains, green spaces, walking trails, and bicycle paths so that citizens can enjoy various leisure activities. It is a facility that everyone can use comfortably for improving the health of Changwon citizens and for leisure and cultural life.

Located on the path from Burim Market toward Chang-dong, Burim Market Food Alley offers a variety of foods such as noodles, bibim naengmyeon, mul naengmyeon, jjolmyeon, and japchae at affordable prices. The Food Alley originated in the 1970s as a place where industrial workers from the Masan Free Export Trade Zone would eat inexpensive meals and enjoy a drink after work. Nearby is the Burim Market Creative Craft Village, making it convenient to visit both places together.
