3.15 Haeyang Nuri Park, located along the Masanman coastline in Wolnamdong, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, is great for walking. The park was created by converting the spaces of Seohang Pier, Pier 1, and Jungang Pier along the beaches between Banwol Jungang-dong, Haeun-dong, and Wolyeong-dong into public park areas for citizens. Set against the backdrop of the Masanman sea, the park is divided into four main areas: a leisure sports area, a central area, a culture and arts area, and a historical symbol area. The leisure sports area offers facilities such as a ground golf course, tennis courts, basketball courts, floor fountains, water play areas, and playgrounds for various sports. The central area includes a large outdoor theater, a lawn park, and a pedestrian bridge connecting to the marine new town. The culture and arts area features the Masan Port Modern History Museum, while the historical symbol area houses the Hall of Democracy. Visitors can enjoy a sea view stroll during the day and stunning nightscapes thanks to lighting throughout the park. It is a well-known spot that should be visited at least once when visiting Changwon.
