Daecheon Beach is located along 4-gil of the beach area in Boryeong-si, Chungnam. It is the largest beach on the West Coast and has been established as a resort area for foreigners since the 1930s. The white sandy beach is 3.5 km long and 100 m wide. The slope is gentle, and the sand is clean. The sunset blending with Dabo Island is especially beautiful. Daecheon Beach is divided mainly into Sunset Plaza and Mud Plaza zones, each offering different activities during the vacation season. The annual Boryeong Mud Festival draws attention not only domestically but internationally, featuring various events themed around Boryeong mud such as the Mud Checkpoint and Mud Discotheque. At the far end of the beach is the Boryeong Mud Experience Center, where visitors can enjoy mud sauna, mud ondol room, mud self-pack, and mud massage. In addition to swimming, there are many other attractions at Daecheon Beach. The Daecheon Zip Trek offers a thrilling experience as if rushing toward the sea. The Sky Bike is the nation's first marine rail bike running between Daecheon Beach and Daecheon Port. The track is set 8 to 15 meters above the water, allowing riders to travel along the sea path. The 2.3 km round trip takes 40 minutes, and it is recommended to ride during high tide when the sea is full.

Yongdu Beach is a beach located near Nampo Barrage in the southwest of Boryeong-si. It is a year-round resort made up of a magnificent pine forest and is designated as a fixed survey site for wild birds in Chungcheong-do due to its excellent natural conditions. Behind the white sand beach is a breakwater, and above it is a dense pine forest so thick that the sky is not visible, providing cool shade. There is a campground within the pine forest, and behind it are lodging facilities such as guesthouses and pensions. Additionally, at the northern end of the beach is the Boryeong Yacht Stadium. Yongdu Beach is accessible via National Route 21, Provincial Route 606, and Provincial Route 607, with the Seohaean Expressway Muchangpo IC nearby. Surrounding attractions include Nampo Barrage, Boryeong Yacht Stadium, Muchangpo Port, Muchangpo Beach, and Choegoun Historic Site.
Muchangpo Beach, opened in 1928, was the first beach on the west coast of Korea. It features a 1.5 km sandy shore, water depths of 1 to 2 meters, a 50 m beach width, a water temperature of 22°C, and a slope of 4 degrees. Surrounded by dense pine forests, it offers visitors both beach and forest bathing experiences. The scenic beauty of its sea pines and peculiar rock formations enhances its charm. The area attracts many tourists annually due to opportunities for sea fishing and abundant groundwater. Notably, around the 1st and 15th days of the lunar calendar each month, a 1.5 km sea path opens from the beach to Seokdaedo Island, called the 'Miracle of Moses.' This phenomenon occurs when seawater recedes at low tide, exposing the sea floor. Visitors enjoy catching crabs and clams along this path. From the Muchangpo Observatory, located 50 meters from the beach entrance on a hill, visitors can take in the full view of this mysterious sea path. Inspired by the water-dividing phenomenon, a Mystery Sea Path Festival is held annually on lunar 1st and 15th days, featuring celebrity performances, torch fishing experiences, a torch parade along the sea path, as well as various hands-on activities such as bare-handed fishing, ecological trap fishing experiences, clam digging, and harvesting of snow crab sticks.
